Thanks for checking out my website! Nature continues to be the inspiration for my work, whether in my own backyard or exploring faraway places. As a native Minnesotan, I love the change of seasons and find beauty in each of them. The joy of discovery keeps nature photography fresh and exciting for me. I never know exactly what I'll find that I was not expecting to photograph. Observing details in a leaf, flower or pine cone opens up a world of wonder and order that is not seen in a hurried glance. There is a sense of peace that comes from slowing my pace to be more in sync with Nature's rhythm, even for a moment or two.

I believe that beauty is essential to our well-being. We are drawn to it as naturally as a hummingbird to nectar-filled blossoms. The realization came to me one day: we are attracted to beauty because it's who we are on the inside. Why else would we feel such a connection with it and where else do we find it so evident as in Nature?
